I have highlighted hair. If I use semi permanent color...will my hair fade back to what color?

I have caramel brown hair with blonde highlights. My natural hair is dark brown. I want to see how chocolate brown or caramel hair would look on me. It's been a while since I've only had one color in my hair!!!! Thanks!!!!

DONT WORRY. 99.9 percent of the time it will go back to your natural hair color. for that other .1 percent... well i dont know.

It will probably turn out Poopy-brownish, because the perm with damage your natural color you have and it will mix with the highlights!

Your hair will go to a tone of the colour your dye it but as a semi permanent lasts up to six weeks only the process would need to be done. Yes the hair would fade but would blend to natural hair tones if used correctly. But the best way to do if you thinking of going full head !

I did the same thing once. I have dark brown hair with blonde highlights. I got tired of it so I dyed it a lighter brown. It stayed that way for awhile but the it started to fade and you could see my highlights again, but the blonde wasn't as light as when I first did it. It was a more natural look with the highlights.
