My natural hair looks like I braided it over the night and then I made it loose. It's very weird. I have no idea how to take care of my hair since it seems like no one has my type of hair. My mother is Native American and Black, she has kinky/curly hair. And my dad is Taino Cuban and Scottish. He has big curly hair. So why is my hair "crimpy"? It's really weird...
Why is my hair naturally crimpy?
your hair is "crimpy" because of the shape of the hair itself, the flatter each individual hair is, the curlier it is, straight hair is perfectly round when viewed under a microscope. You might try having it thinned to make it more manageable and maybe a layered cut. Also there is a new product called curl cream that you can find in your salon, it keeps your hair's shape but makes it not wild or out of control, just kind of polishes and tames it. Hope this helps !
